Meet Jann, a curious and versatile human. With a passion for creativity and technology, he offers a unique skill set that blends writing, software development, and design.

After being raised in the 🏖️, he spent his formative years in the 🏜️, exploring and discovering himself. Now, having settled down in the bustling 🏙️, he has managed to find a sense of balance in his life.

Jann learns a little bit about everything. Most of the time it's kitchen or household related. In his down time, he's shadowboxing, making memes/GIFs, sampling music, or cleaning up his dōjō. He likes to use his work and platform to inspire people and make them (and himself) laugh.

FOR WRITERS: I write stories, source code, and informational text in a clear and concise way. I believe words have power. So, I try to use them sparingly.

FOR DESIGNERS: I care about design and the open-design movement. I'm proficient in layout, digital art, motion graphics, and typography. I use GIMP / Photoshop for raster images and Inkscape / Illustrator for vector images.

FOR DEVELOPERS: I'm a full-stack developer with a focus on front-end. Interestingly, I started out in the domain of data science using languages like Fortran, MATLAB, and Mathematica. I've worked both as a solo developer and as a lead developer (scaling up to a team of four). My recent projects have been built in React and Django. In addition to the Web, I've written applications for Android, GNU-Linux, Windows, Arduino, and POS terminals. I used to be open to new frameworks and tools, but I've chosen to specialize in a few. I can't keep up with today's technology. I've found other pursuits in life.
